Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Ready2HangArt Made to Order is an app that lets approved dealers (artists and brands) connect their store to Ready2HangArt so we can produce (print, frame) and ship their wall-art orders. The Service is offered to dealers located in, and shipping to, the United States. This policy explains what data the app handles and how we protect it, and works together with our Terms of Service.
With respect to a dealer's end-customer information, Ready2HangArt acts as a service provider carrying out fulfillment on the dealer's behalf. The dealer remains the business responsible for its own customer relationship and for its own compliance obligations toward its end customers.
2. What Data We Process
From the dealer (our direct customer):
- Account info: business name, email, phone, website/portfolio, address, and the optional license/resale numbers provided at signup.
- Authentication data and the store or integration connection token(s), including connections made via Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, or Order Desk.
From the dealer's orders (the dealer's end customers):
- The buyer's name, shipping address, and phone — used only to manufacture and ship the order.
- Order/product details (item, size, quantity, artwork file reference).
- Artwork, print, packing-slip, and shipping-label files supplied by link — see Section 4.
We do not request or store the end customer's email for marketing, and we do not sell any personal data.
3. How We Use the Data
- To fulfill orders: produce the item and ship it to the address provided.
- To operate the dealer's account (login, notifications about their account/orders).
- To provide support and comply with legal obligations.
We process the minimum data needed for fulfillment and limit its use to that purpose.
4. Link-Based Files (Artwork, Packing Slips, Shipping Labels)
Some files exchanged through the Service — artwork, packing slips, and shipping labels — are provided and accessed as links (for example, a Dropbox or Google Drive share, or a link supplied through a connected store or order-management platform) rather than uploaded directly into Ready2HangArt's systems.
These links are not authenticated by Ready2HangArt: anyone with the link can access the file. The dealer or integration partner who creates a link is responsible for its permissions and security. Because packing slips and shipping labels can contain a buyer's name and address, dealers and integration partners should avoid making these links more broadly or permanently accessible than necessary, where their own platform allows a more restricted option. Ready2HangArt is evaluating tokenized, expiring links for a future release of the Service.
5. How We Protect It
- Encryption in transit: all traffic over HTTPS/TLS.
- Encryption at rest: end-customer personal data (name, address, phone) submitted directly to Ready2HangArt (for example, in an API order request) is encrypted in our database (AES-256). This protection applies to data held within Ready2HangArt's own systems; it does not extend to files made available by external link as described in Section 4, which remain subject to the access settings chosen by whoever created the link.
- Access control: only authorized Ready2HangArt staff can access customer data held in our systems; access is logged.
- Retention: end-customer personal data is anonymized once it is no longer needed (within 12 months of the order), keeping only non-personal transaction records.
- Breach notification: if we discover a breach affecting end-customer personal data held directly by Ready2HangArt, we will notify the affected dealer(s) without undue delay and cooperate with any legal obligations that apply to us directly.
6. Data Sharing
We share data only with the service providers strictly needed to fulfill and ship orders (for example, shipping carriers, shipping software, and payment processing). We never sell personal data, and we honor opt-out-of-sale requests by default because we don't sell data in the first place.
7. Your Rights
An end customer's data is controlled by the dealer (the merchant) who made the sale, and requests to access, correct, or delete personal data should generally be directed to that dealer. Where a request reaches Ready2HangArt directly, or where a connected platform requires it, we support:
- Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (
customers/data_request,customers/redact,shop/redact) for Shopify-connected stores. - Requests sent directly to info@ready2hangart.com for orders connected through Etsy, WooCommerce, Order Desk, or any other integration, which we will honor to the extent the data is within our control.
8. California and Other State Privacy Laws
Ready2HangArt does not sell personal data and does not currently meet the revenue or data-volume thresholds that trigger the full requirements of laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. 9. Children's Privacy
The Service is a business-to-business tool intended for use by adult dealers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Data Location and Service Availability
Data is stored on secured servers located in the United States. The Service is currently offered only to dealers operating in, and shipping to, the United States.
11. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, consistent with our Terms of Service.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
